Jisatsu

This was done after I watched Jisatsu Saakuru and the 54 schoolgirls with their mass suicide. It was really twisted, but I thought it'd make a good image, and it's a good insight into human nature. The movie's underlying message is that the Japanese need for trends and fads is deadly. I think that's true throughout the world. And that's why this image was made.

Edit: Since there've been a lot of comments about the text in the corner, that's not a video overlay... that's the subway Track # and the time of day. In the movie, they make several specific references to "Track 8: Jump here". I'm not even sure if it brings anything to the piece at all, but I included it because the track number on the Tokyo bound subway out of Shinjuku and the time had several shots dedicated to them in the opening sequence. ^^ Hope that clears some stuff up!
