this is masozi and amadi from maschinell. they're from the tribe called ba'at in the comic. 8D she's the oracle of the hunt, he's the finest warrior in the tribe.
the weapons that amadi wields are blades that he's claimed as trophies from cyborgs that he's killed. the spines are similar trophies except he doesn't hit stuff with them.
i'll post a progression and detail thing sometime tomorrow methinks. but for now, after marathoning the last 30 hours of this, i'm so tired of looking at this. ALL I CAN SEE IS ORANGE. D8
i took the title of the piece from one of the scenes-- eshe asks masozi what she thinks of amadi as a mate, and she states that "he is a fine warrior."
this shit sparkles IRL. too bad it doesn't scan. ];
